As the Lead Pastor at Calvary, David enjoys enabling and empowering Christians to grow in every aspect of their Christian life.
In addition to his leadership role in the church, he has extensive experience in creating and developing thriving organizations and empowering teams to accomplish their goals.
David graduated from Calvary Baptist Academy in 1996, received his Bachelor of Arts from Pensacola Christian College in 2001, and his Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University in 2005.
David lives in New Braunfels with his wife, Jaye, and their two children.
As the Executive Pastor at Calvary, Ryan loves connecting with and encouraging others to maximize their potential in service for Christ.
Ryan has been extensively involved in Christian education for over 10 years. His experience includes roles such as Principal, Athletic Director, Athletic Trainer, Director of Human Resources, Director of Operations, Bible Teacher, and Computer Lab Facilitator. In addition to these leadership roles, and years of coaching in baseball, basketball, and football at a very competitive level, Ryan has also led worship in churches for over ten years, toured the country with various singing groups, and strives to bring people into a closer encounter with the Father through music at Calvary.
Ryan graduated from Trinity Baptist College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Missions and a minor in Music, and earned his Master of Arts in Business Management and Leadership from Liberty University in 2011.
Originally from Georgia, Ryan lives in New Braunfels with his wife, Andrea, and their three children.
As the Office Administrator and Admissions Coordinator at Calvary, Jaye is committed to making the enrollment process and the transition to Calvary a smooth and pleasant experience.
Jaye has been instrumental in the operations of Calvary for over 13 years. In addition to her role as Pastor’s wife and Women’s Ministry Leader in the church, Jaye serves as the Office Administrator and Enrollment Coordinator at CBA, and has also helped facilitate in the classroom when needed. From giving tours to prospective families, to coaching seniors in preparation for their graduation ceremony, Jaye is an integral part of the CBA experience from beginning to end.
Jaye Graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Originally from Illinois, Jaye lives in New Braunfels with her husband, David, and their two children.
As the School Administrator and High School Facilitator at Calvary, Stephen has a passion for learning and especially for Christian education.
For over 10 years, he has been extensively involved in teaching and administrating in a wide variety of school and university settings, and he thoroughly enjoys helping people both academically and spiritually.
Stephen graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. After earning his Master of Arts in Business Management from Liberty University in 2009, Stephen took a position as a university professor in Hainan, China. It was while in Communist China, that God really opened his eyes as to how education and helping people grow spiritually could really go hand in hand. And today, he is thrilled to be able to serve full-time in an atmosphere where kids are receiving a Christ-centered education.
He and his wife Emily live in New Braunfels with their three children.
As a Middle School Facilitator at Calvary, Beth Ann is determined to instill the belief and confidence in her students that they can achieve anything if they work diligently towards those goals.
Beth Ann has been at Calvary for most of her life, and has been very involved in every aspect of the ministry. She has been involved in Christian education at CBA for over 10 years. In addition to her commitment to the ministry at Calvary, Beth Ann has practiced nursing for over 13 years.
Beth Ann graduated from Calvary Baptist Academy in 1998, studied nursing at Pensacola Christian College, and received her LVN from Career Point College in 2012.
She and her husband Brad live in San Antonio with their three daughters.
As a Middle School Facilitator at Calvary, Kyle is eager to make a real connection with his students in the classroom and through sports, to inspire them to live for Christ, and to get them connected with the church and youth group.
In addition to his role as a Youth Pastor for over 12 years, Kyle has experience in engineering and has worked as a design tech for TXDOT, and an engineering coop assistant for Parker Hannifin Corp.
Kyle studied engineering science at Bob Jones University and mechanical engineering at The University of Alabama.
Kyle lives in New Braunfels with his wife, Kristen, and their two children.
As the Elementary Facilitator at Calvary, Becky loves children and has a passion for helping them reach their full potential, both academically and spiritually.
Becky has been at Calvary for many years, and has been involved in Christian education at CBA for over 10 years. In addition to her commitment to the ministry at Calvary, she has also toured the United States and Canada ministering through music with the Steel Magnolias for over 12 years.
Becky lives in Cibolo, TX with her husband, Robert, and their two daughters. She also has a son, daughter in law, and grandson whom she adores. All three of her children have attended Calvary, and two are graduates of CBA.
As the Virtual Academy Facilitator at Calvary, Sherman has a passion to not only inspire students to learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential both academically and spiritually, but also prepare them for every opportunity that lies ahead.
In addition to his Pastoral experience, Sherman has been extensively involved in teaching and administrating in a wide variety of school and university settings for over 35 years. His experience includes roles such as Adjunct Professor of History, Director of Student Ministry, Director of Student Support Services, Academic Intervention Specialist, New York State licensed classroom teacher, as well as basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer coach.
Sherman earned his Bachelor’s in Education from Baptist Bible College in 1975, his Bachelor of Theology in 1976, and his Master’s in Education from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in 1984.
Originally from New York, Sherman lives in New Braunfels with his wife, Diane.
As the Enrichment Coordinator at Calvary, Andrea is passionate about creating a well-rounded educational experience at CBA.
Andrea has been involved in Christian education for over 13 years. Her experience includes teaching a wide variety of subjects across all grade levels, as well as coaching girls middle school and high school sports at a very competitive level. At Calvary, Andrea teaches the elementary and middle school enrichment classes, coordinates and communicates events, and photographs and documents the events.
Andrea graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Physical Education, and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University in 2011.
Originally from Georgia, Andrea lives in New Braunfels with her husband, Ryan, and their three children.
As the Mother’s Day Out Coordinator at Calvary, Taffy is committed to providing a fun, safe, loving learning environment for preschool-aged children.
Taffy has worked with children for over 7 years. Her experience includes teaching preschool-aged children in Master’s Club and Mother’s Day Out.
Taffy graduated from Lamar University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
Originally from Beaumont, TX, Taffy lives in New Braunfels with her husband, Dusty, and their three children.
As the Teacher’s Assistant at Calvary, Sarah is eager to assist staff, faculty, and students with any task throughout the school day.
Sarah has been at Calvary since preschool, and has assisted teachers with grading, tutoring, and other administrative tasks throughout high school.
Sarah graduated Valedictorian from CBA in 2020, and is considering a career in Education. She plans to attend Pensacola Christian College.
Sarah lives in Cibolo with her parents and sister.
